My brotha, I did a EXTREMELY similar but solid roof sun porch for a client. 😂😂😂 THREE long days, 6 boxes the size of compact cars, 1800 nuts/bolts/screws. I grossly undercharged that job. Everything had riv-nuts, nicely labeled, BUT anyone reading this assembling anything like this TAKE MY ADVICE or pay the price, don't, DO NOT tighten anything down until it's fully assembled. It NEEDS play in it to self adjust and let continuing pieces fit, esp the roof and doors

I had the same issue, business end not spinning. After tightening up that bolt and making sure it was down all the way no luck still. I took apart the spool and it must’ve been bound up because once that once free it ran like a champ again.

I have the dewalt inflator. Mine has been awesome. I bet I’ve had it for 4 years now and still going strong. Only problem I’ve had was last fall the guts shot out of the threaded end you put on the valve stem. Plumbed in one of those lock-n-lube chucks and back in business. I’m a farmer in west central Illinois. I use these things everyday and I ask way more of them then what they are really designed for. I’ll put a big battery on them and just walk away, let them run until the battery dies. Granted, 75% of the time it’s for low pressure ag tires (35psi or less)I’ve tried a ton of them. Most have been short lived. -kobalt was trash for me, pump stopped pumping after about 10 light duty uses just around the house. -Craftsman was short lived aswell. -Hart I gave to my buddy, he was in need and those clamp on ends never fair well for me anyway. -The Ryobi I had looked very similar in style and shape to the dewalt. It wasn’t as fast and died after 2 years. So it was decent for the price. -Milwaukee m12 has also been a great and compact unit. No complaints. I have 2 of them. Performance is very close between the Milwaukee and the dewalt. Getting the battery of the Milwaukee can be a challenge if you have big hands or any level of dexterity issues such as arthritis or carpal tunnel. -Milwaukee m18 hotdog compressor has been great. Just heavy. -dewalt flexvolt pancake compressor has been great. -craftsman 20v pancake compressor has been great. - just got the Milwaukee m18 inflator. We’ll see how that turns out. My expectations are pretty high. -never had any luck with the jump packs with the built in compressors. The compressors always crap out quick. If your need is filled by the m12, you’re not gaining much with another dewalt. But I would encourage another try if you find yourself in need. Maybe I just got a good one, but I think it’s more likely that you just got a dud. I bet if you tore it open you’d find a wire disconnected from a missed soldier or something.

I got mine yesterday for $4.39 or 49. Took me a while to realize that it’s better for pulling nails through the wood from the back as opposed to pulling them out from the side that you shot them in. I believe it will be very useful over the years.

Had that bolt ever been out before? If it was "factory" there may have been a burr that got pulled into the threads when trying to take it out. Another comment from @bryandavi179 mentioned stainless needing anti-sieze -- definitely concur with that!

Stainless bolts and stainless nuts are a no go. They will thread gall. And lock up. Use just a Stainless bolt and a regular nut.

As always. Great video. I work 3rd shift so I enjoy the 1am rants. FYI in my area, Albuquerque New Mexico. Lowes has some rain Byrd irrigation tubing on clearance 100’ for 4$. You might wanna check that out for them trees. That black tubing has held up better than I thought it would here in the desert. Sitting on top of the dirt for 4 yrs no issues unless it’s me or the kids at fault.

You want your water hose to not be much longer than you need if possible. The longer your line is, the more your pressure drops. A 25' hose has considerably more pressure than a 100' hose
